Our hours are:

Monday through Thursday
8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Friday
8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Saturday
9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Office Policies

If this is your first visit to the York Animal Hospital, or if you are an old friend returning, welcome! We'll do our best to make your visit pleasant and beneficial.

Appointments are requested--the hospital runs more efficiently if we schedule office visits, consulations and surgeries at appropriate times.

Exceptions are made for emergencies. If occasionally we "run late," it's probably due to unforseen emergencies or complications. Your patience is appreciated! If you are unable to keep your appointment, PLEASE give us 24 hours' notice so that another patient may be able to use that time.

Post-graduate Continuing Education

From time to time, we may be out of the office in order to attend post-graduate continuing education courses. This way, we stay abreast of the latest medical and surgical developments in veterinary medicine, and you can be assured that your pet will benefit as well. The Maine Department of Professional Licensing mandates continuing education. Arrangements will be made for continuous patient care during our absences.
