Emergencies

We offer 24-hour emergency service. If you feel you have an emergency or have serious questions about your companion after our regular hours, please call 603-431-3600. The number will put you in touch with the Veterinary Emergency, Critical Care & Cancer Treatment Center of NH (EVC), located at 15 Piscataqua Drive in Portsmouth, NH. If you call our hospital number after regular office hours, you'll hear a recording that directs you to the EVC.

The EVC provides for emergency treatment, after which patients are discharged or hospitalized. Specially trained staff and equipment ensure excellent aound-the-clock treatment, and afterwards, patients are encouraged to return to their regular veterinary hospitals for follow-ups.

We also employ the EVC for monitoring and treatment of critical-care patients. They are our partners in supporting the special care needs of our patients.

Brochures detailing the EVC are available at the reception counter.
